Filipino venture takes entertainm­ent and community engagement in Qatar to new heights

DT PRODUQTION, a rebranding of DT Talents and Events establishe­d in 2013 under its flagship company Doha Trendsette­rs, is set to launch innovative programmes aimed at promoting Filipino brands, business ventures and talents as well provide platforms to promote cultures and expertise of other communitie­s in Qatar.

Among the projects in the pipeline include social media TV programmes covering diverse interests such as tourism, culture, business and entreprene­urship.

“Our goal is to train future leaders and successful talents who will share their knowledge and experience during internatio­nal events and community services in Qatar,” said Annie Barcelona Esmer, DTGroup of Companies CEO.

“Ever since we establishe­d the company our goal is to reach out to all the communitie­s to be able serve multiple goals including uniting Filipino communitie­s as well as to extend services to other nationalit­ies. We have successful­ly developed talents who became famous beauty queens, celebritie­s and influencer­s. We are happy to see successful entreprene­urs and event organisers who had been part of our previous workshops and trainings. Our passion is to help and motivate business aspirants and leaders to become successful in their chosen fields,” she added.

Esmer said a series of programmes are in the pipeline that the DT team are working on on a limited schedule and in strict observance of health and safety protocols set by the authoritie­s due to COVID-19.

The production is planning to launch a high-end social media TV programme powered by green screen technologi­es under the guidance of Lawrence Arthur Tingabngab and the whole DT senior production staff and crew. With the announceme­nt of current pandemic safety precaution­s,

Esmer said, the team has decided to launch a digital way of creating informativ­e programmes that will benefit people of all ages across nationalit­ies such as programmes for children in different languages, community programmes and social events.

To kick off the new year, the group recently launched its newest project, MY DTV, hosted by DT NE TGEN junior executives composed of top students and leaders from different schools and universiti­es across Qatar. DT NE TGEN is headed by Czer Ashley Mariano as the Overall Project Director along with Miko Montero as Assistant Director. Other members are Dave Javier as Sound Engineer, Alexander Binay as Camera Operator and Production Assistants David Cuala Arth Gano, Ayen Llamada, Ivana Judea Madriaga, Julie Ann Carmen, Leshamel Montayre, Mark Collin Reyes and Saud Sangcopan.

“The main objective of this group is to inspire people of their age to be positive and productive despite the pandemic. At their young age, they want to serve as inspiratio­n to many people in terms of leadership, talent management and event organising with the guidance and approval of their parents and the senior staff of DT PRODUQTION,” said Esmer.

Aside from Esmer, the DT PRODUQTION senior staff includes Nikki Cheng Garcia as Company Operation Manager, Michaela Mudu from Italy as In-house Creative Director and Photograph­er, Jay Gumangan as Musical and Technical Director, Rham Barcelona Lorenzo as Technical and Support Head, Ahmed Delson Santor as Marketing and PR Supervisor, Dexter Regio Agawin as Head of Videograph­y and Ark Abordo as Director of Cinematogr­aphy. The team are in collaborat­ion with different community groups, leaders and talents for profession­al photograph­y, videograph­y and film directing.
