Hussain animel.

The book published by Calicut-based Pendulum Books sheds light on the memories of the author over the years. The lucid style of the author in depicting the life sketches and experiences in its innocence reminds the readers of such occasions that come across in the life of most people.

The book takes us through an array of incidents that take place in various stages of the author’s life while underlining certain values and qualities that life has taught.

We all have different roles in life. The role of a son, a husband, a father, a member of the society and so on. In every sphere of life we find certain individuals or qualities that help to mould our characters. Who is the first role model of a child Definitely the parents. Hussain finds his father as his role model and expects himself to be a role model for his son too.

A chapter in the book, ‘An Eid in corona time’ reminds us of the importance of celebrations while the author answers a query from his son that any celebration is meaningless if we are unable to realise the pain and problems of the less privileged in the society.

Mohammed Husain is working as a physiotherapist at the Qatar Red Crescent Society.
