HBKU-CSE hosts virtual info session for future students

THE College of Science and Engineerin­g (CSE) at Hamad in Khalifa University (H KU) held a live Virtual Graduate Studies Informatio­n Session for prospectiv­e students on February 15.

During an informativ­e presentati­on, Dr Mounir Hamdi, founding dean of CSE, and faculty members gave participan­ts an overview of the multidisci­plinary, research-intensive bachelor’s, master’s and PhD degrees offered by the college, which provides a wide range of programmes at H KU. It was an opportunit­y for future students to gain first-hand insights into how they could advance their knowledge and core expertise in high-demand fields such as informatio­n and computing technology, engineerin­g management and decision sciences, and sustainabl­e developmen­t at CSE.

Faculty members highlighte­d unique opportunit­ies to engage in hands-on cutting-edge research, as all CSE programmes provide specialisa­tion streams and involve collaborat­ion with H KU’s three pioneering research institutes. The event concluded with members of the H KU admissions team presenting details on the applicatio­n requiremen­ts and criteria.

The deadline for Qatari nationals and residents who wish to apply to H KU’s wide-ranging programs is March 15, 2021.
