Radisson Blu Hotel retains its Executive Level Certification for fifth straight year
THE Radisson Blu Hotel Doha has retained its Executive Level Certification awarded by Safehotels Alliance AB that operates the Global Hotel Security Standard - the world’s leading safety and security certification standard for the hotel industry for a fifth consecutive year.
This shows guests and travel buyers that the Radisson Blu Hotel Doha has been independently assessed to meet more than 230 safety and security standards.
An ambitious project by Sheikh Ghanem bin Ali Al Thani, the property has been a pioneer in setting hospitality trends and service standards since its establishment in 1979. Ahead of its times in terms of infrastructure, its strength remains with its team of dedicated personnel.
“Our continued endeavour to ensure the safety and security of guests, employees and owner assets remains top priority at all times. Led by a team of experts in their field, the audit process requires months of study and coordination to ensure the property maintains and keeps up with the ever evolving audit points and new parameters introduced each year.
With over three decades of experience, Chief Engineer Judson Pillard leads a team of technical engineers that not only maintain standards but continue to upgrade systems with technological advancements.
A dedicated team of Fire Safety personnel led by Johnson Lona, fire safety officer remains on call 2 7 to respond to any emergencies. A committed in house security team led by Omer Abdelrahman, security manager ensures the physical security of the perimeter, surroundings and continuously patrols and monitors the internal environment.
Supporting the core team is the Training Manager Deepti Mahajan, who ensures the teams remain upto-date on processes and protocol along with Basil Kinney, hygiene and HACCAP manager, who makes certain that food handling processes remain up-to-date and safe at all times.
