Ideal Solutions showcases innovative, smart ideas at Majd Qatar exhibition
THE activities of the third edition of the ‘Majd Qatar’ exhibition and forum, held under the slogan ‘Share your achievements’, concluded with a huge success with the participation from Ideal Solutions, a pioneering and successful Qatari company, which showcased its most prominent achievements and developments in providing innovative, smart and high-tech solutions and services developed.
Ideal Solutions, represented by its CEO, added its name as a Bronze Sponsor to the list of government agencies, companies and public figures participating in the event, which witnessed a large number of attendees.
On the sidelines of the exhibition, Ideal Solutions Company held a workshop under the title ‘Making Disabled Friendly Smart Cities - The Latest Innovations in Fully Accessible SelfService Solutions’ where Engineer Mahmoud Amer, founder and CEO of the company, reviewed the company’s achievements and innovative solutions achieved by the company in several sectors.
Engineer Amer expressed his deep appreciation to the Amir His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani for this precious opportunity to contribute to the transformation of Qatar into a model global city, which combines sustainability and quality of urban life as part of the Qatar National Vision 2030. He added that this national occasion is an opportunity to reaffirm loyalty and pride in the beloved State of Qatar and its rational leadership.
Ibrahim Al Tamimi from the Business Development and Sales Department presented the features of the smart devices developed by the company, which take into account the requirements of people with special needs. The devices provide voice services that help the blind and visually impaired to use the service after hearing it through the use of keyboards that suit the needs of people with special needs, with the ability to move between the menus and functions of the system using shortcut keys suitable for people with visual and movement disabilities. The devices also provide the possibility of using the system through voice commands, as well as browsing the system functions and following up the progress of the service by listening to the voice commands issued by the system.
He also reviewed the features of designing system interfaces that takes into account the needs of people with special needs, taking into account the high contrast between colours while providing the magnifier tool, and the use of larger fonts and buttons for users with low vision.
