Amir participates in fraternal consultative meeting in UAE

HIS Highness the Amir of State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani on Wednesday participated in the fraternal consultative meeting held at the invitation of HH President of the sisterly United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The meeting was held under the title “Prosperity and Stability in the Region”, at the St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates.

HM Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of the sisterly Sultanate of Oman, HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of the sisterly Kingdom of Bahrain, HM King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein of the sisterly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, HE President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah El Sisi attended the meeting.

HH the Amir also attended the luncheon banquet hosted by his brother President of the sisterly United Arab Emirates in honour of the leaders of a number of GCC countries, HM the King of Jordan and the President of Egypt.

Today, I was pleased with the consultative meeting with a number of my brothers, leaders of brotherly countries, during which we discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation between our countries in a way that achieves the interests of our peoples and supports security and stability in our region. Thanks to my brother Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed and the UAE for the warm welcome and hospitality.

The meeting and luncheon banquet were attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Chief of the Amiri Diwan HE Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, and a number of sheikhs and ministers, as well as members of official delegations.

The Amir His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani on Wednesday participated in the fraternal consultative meeting held at the invitation of President of the United Arab Emirates HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, along with HM Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman, HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain, HM King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein of Jordan, President of Egypt Abdel Fattah El Sisi. Earlier on arrival HH the Amir and his accompanying delegation were welcomed at the Presidential Flight by President of the United Arab Emirates HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. HH the Amir and the accompanying delegation were also welcomed by Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Adviser Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
