Katara Internatio­nal Exhibition for Kahraman set to begin on Feb 10

THE Katara Cultural Village announced that the rd Katara Internatio­nal Exhibition for Kahraman will be held from February 1to1, .

Several Arab and foreign countries, internatio­nal associatio­ns and bodies specialise­d in amber, will take part. There will be 5 pavilions and exhibit platforms.

General Manager of Katara Cultural Village, Dr Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti said that the Katara Internatio­nal Exhibition for Kahraman has become a favourite destinatio­n for amber traders from all over the world including global productive companies. This promotes Qatar s position as a global destinatio­n for amber trading and acquisitio­n,

in addition to establishi­ng the exhibition as an ideal global platform for promoting and updating this industry.

Al Sulaiti emphasised that the festival returns in its rd edition with the same strength as in its first edition in anuary

19, after it was suspended for two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He pointed out that Katara has allocated a permanent headquarte­rs for amber and organises training workshops under the supervisio­n of internatio­nal experts. A laboratory for quality examinatio­n was establishe­d to examine everything related to quality, in cooperatio­n and coordinati­on with internatio­nal institutio­ns specialise­d in amber.

Director of Katara Internatio­nal Exhibition for Kahraman, Khalid Abdulrahim Al Sayed, said that the exhibition witnesses participat­ion from countries well-known for producing amber, or interested in its trade. These countries, include Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, Germany, Turkey, and Arab countries, in addition to a large number of merchants and interested parties from inside and outside Qatar.
