Talking to Qatar Tribune on the sidelines of the exhibition, Suhail Industrial Holding Group Chief Development Officer Shadi Afif said, “Our participation in this exhibition reflects our steadfast commitment to supporting Qatar Vision 2030, which aims to enhance economic diversification, achieve sustainable development, and promote innovation across all sectors. This year, Suhail Group will present a range of new products targeting the transportation sector, such as spare parts for compressors, superchargers used in buses and trucks and other products aimed at the oil and gas, aviation, and automotive sectors.”

He said, “We are confident that our participation in Project Qatar 2023 will enhance our commercial capabilities and relationships with governmental and private entities in Qatar and around the world. We intend to seize this opportunity to explore new partnerships and expand our scope of work in diverse sectors.”

“We invite all visitors and media outlets to visit our pavilion at Project Qatar and take advantage of the opportunity to familiarise themselves with our capabilities and collaborate in building a better and more sustainable future,” he said.

This is our second time to participate here in this exhibition. We consider Project Qatar as one of the best exhibitions held in Qatar. As the biggest private industrial group, we were very interested to participate in this kind of exhibition. We are serving all kinds of industrial projects in Qatar whether infrastructure, construction or the oil and gas sector.

Currently, he said, “We have almost 15 factories in Qatar. We are going to have four factories more this year. Our target is to open three to four factories every in Qatar to meet the growing demand for our products in Qatar and outside the country.”

He said, “We are the leaders for our portfolio of products in Qatar. We try to have unique industrial products something others do not have. So, we don’t have real competition in the local market and the region. The capacity of our factories is more than the need of Qatar. So basically we are targeting to export. Around 30 percent of our production capacity is enough for the Qatari market and 70 percent of our products are exported to Gulf countries and the USA.”
