MAHZOOZ, the GCC’s leading weekly draw, which has created 44 millionaires to date in a span of two years, has crowned three millionaires from Qatar in less than a month. Operated from the UAE and held live every Saturday evening, Mahzooz, Arabic for “lucky”, offers thousands of participants from all over the world, a chance to win an unmatched top prize of AED20,000,000 (QR19.8 M) and guarantees the win of AED1,000,000 every week through its raffle draw.

Around 30,000 participants based in Qatar, representing 87 different nationalities have joined the weekly draw over the past two years and have collectively won around QR5,000,000, out of a total of QR406,000,000 given away in prize money to more than 242,000 winners from around the world.

On Saturday, 8 April 2023, during the 123rd Mahzooz draws, Rinza, a 41-year-old mother, was announced as Mahzooz’s 37th millionaire, after winning the raffle prize of AED1,000,000.

Rinza, who is originally from India, has been living in Qatar with her husband and two children for the past 18 years, where she works as a coordinator for a pipeline supply service.

Rinza discovered Mahzooz through social media and chose to participate in it over a year ago with the specific goal of contributing to a humanitarian cause if she ends up winning.

Three weeks later, Sumair, a 36-year-old Indian Oil & Gas supervisor and father, became Mahzooz’s 41st millionaire after winning AED1,000,00 at the 126th draws. Sumair started working in Qatar in 2022 after having lived in the UAE for six years until he lost his job due to the pandemic and had to return to India.

“This is awesome, and it comes at the right time as I was considering buying a property back home. When I informed my wife of my win, she was sceptical at first, but when I sent her a screenshot of my Mahzooz account balance, she believed me and we celebrated over the phone,” said an elated Sumair.

One week after, on May 6 at the 127th Mahzooz draws, Shahabaz, another Qatari expat, an Indian national who works as a mechanical engineer, became Mahzooz’s 42nd millionaire.

“Everyone has a chance to make it big with Mahzooz since participation costs AED35 only. Thank you, Mahzooz, for this great moment and for helping me secure my family’s future,” said Shahabaz.

For only AED35, participants can purchase a bottle of Mahzooz water, and enter the weekly draw every Saturday consisting of the Grand Draw, for a chance to win the top prize of AED20,000,000 and the weekly Raffle Draw, which will grant AED1,000,000 every week to a guaranteed millionaire-to-be.

Mahzooz is the region’s favourite weekly draw not only because it offers participants a life-changing opportunity to win millions every week, but also because it is dedicated to giving back to the community.
