Turkish envoy thanks Qatari leadership, people for goodwill messages to president Erdogan
AMBASSADOR of Türkiye to Qatar HE Dr Mustafa Göksu has expressed gratitude to the Amir His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani for being the first head of the state to send congratulatory message to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on his victory in the recent general elections.
The ambassador said the message is a testament to the depth of Qatari-Turkish close relations that have further strengthened in recent years.
Dr Gukso thanked the Qatari government and the concerned departments for facilitating the Turkish embassy for the safe and peaceful arrangements made for Turkish expatriates to exercise their right to vote during the Turkish general elections.
He also thanked the people from Arab and Muslim World for their prayers and good wishes which were a show of companions in this historical march.
He said, “I renew the hope that the bonds of brotherhood and friendship that unite us with our Arab brothers enhance our strength and contribute to achieving our common aspirations. With great joy and pride, I salute the great Turkish people for their huge participation in the recent presidential and parliamentary elections, who showed their deep love for democracy, freedom and commitment to the future of their country.”
The Turkish ambassador conveyed his warmest congratulations to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on winning a second presidential term and affirmed that his success reflects the confidence of the Turkish people in his ability to lead the country towards further progress and prosperity.
“We are proud of the great progress and honest democratic life that Türkiye has been experiencing during the past two decades, while we await the start of the centenary of the Turkish Republic and the glorious renaissance century that befits our great nation,” he said.
He expressed confidence that Türkiye will see significant progress during President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s new presidential term, as the country deserves a stable government under the leadership of a loyal, capable and beloved president like Erdogan.
“We remember with pride, the spirit of unity and brotherhood among our people; and we pray to God to protect Türkiye, its people and its leadership always and forever,” the envoy added.
He greeted his compatriots and prayed that may they always be strengthened and proud of their nation as a symbol of democracy and progress.
