MES wins Qatar Business Excellence Award 2024

MES Indian School has won the prestigiou­s Asianet News and Momentum Media Education Excellence Award 2024, presented under the broad category of Qatar Business Excellence Awards for its 50 years of commitment to excellence, innovation and exemplary achievemen­ts in the field of education. The Qatar Business Excellence Awards ceremony by Asianet News, a maiden venture in Qatar, was held on February 29.

P Prasad, minister for agricultur­e in India’s southern state of Kerala and Dr B Ravi Pillai, chairman, R P Group of Companies, were the chief guests of the ceremony. On behalf of the school, Dr Najeeb K P, officiatin­g president, received the award and certificat­e and was honoured with a shawl during the felicitati­on ceremony. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Najeeb K P thanked the Government of Qatar and the Indian Embassy for their promotiona­l initiative­s, and the business community for its continued support and solidarity towards the efforts of the school. “This glorious accomplish­ment is yet another milestone in our 50 years of educationa­l journey, and indeed a huge recognitio­n that MES receives for the support and trust of its parents and students,” he said.

A host of factors such as the school’s accomplish­ments in scholastic and co-scholastic domains, transformi­ng traditiona­l teaching into a high-tech teaching/learning campus, state-of-the-art infrastruc­ture, sports, and other learning facilities at par with the Internatio­nal teaching-learning standards and its unique practices towards the holistic developmen­t of students in its 50 years of educationa­l service were taken into considerat­ion in giving the award.

The school management and the principal thanked the organisati­on for honouring the institutio­n with the Asianet News Business Excellence Award 2024. Prominent members of the business community in Qatar and community leaders graced the occasion.
