MES wins Qatar Business Excellence Award 2024

MES Indian School has won the prestigious Asianet News and Momentum Media Education Excellence Award 2024, presented under the broad category of Qatar Business Excellence Awards for its 50 years of commitment to excellence, innovation and exemplary achievements in the field of education. The Qatar Business Excellence Awards ceremony by Asianet News, a maiden venture in Qatar, was held on February 29.

P Prasad, minister for agriculture in India’s southern state of Kerala and Dr B Ravi Pillai, chairman, R P Group of Companies, were the chief guests of the ceremony. On behalf of the school, Dr Najeeb K P, officiating president, received the award and certificate and was honoured with a shawl during the felicitation ceremony. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Najeeb K P thanked the Government of Qatar and the Indian Embassy for their promotional initiatives, and the business community for its continued support and solidarity towards the efforts of the school. “This glorious accomplishment is yet another milestone in our 50 years of educational journey, and indeed a huge recognition that MES receives for the support and trust of its parents and students,” he said.

A host of factors such as the school’s accomplishments in scholastic and co-scholastic domains, transforming traditional teaching into a high-tech teaching/learning campus, state-of-the-art infrastructure, sports, and other learning facilities at par with the International teaching-learning standards and its unique practices towards the holistic development of students in its 50 years of educational service were taken into consideration in giving the award.

The school management and the principal thanked the organisation for honouring the institution with the Asianet News Business Excellence Award 2024. Prominent members of the business community in Qatar and community leaders graced the occasion.
