Qur’an complex pay issue to be resolved soon

-

He said that the company follows the Roman calendar for payments and it has not paid the June wages to both Saudi and non-Saudi workers.

Al-Hazmi clarified that the company is in breach of Article 90 of the Labor Law and that it will now have to pay a SR3,000 fine on every worker, Saudi and foreigner, whose wage has been delayed.

Some of the employees were quoted as saying that they did not receive wages for three months.

A large number of employees of the complex have been facing the problem of delayed pay and job insecurity. They want the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance to take complete control of the complex and put the employees on the ministry's payroll. The workers believe it will give them job security and solve other issues.
