OIC condemns France killing
JEDDAH: The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has denounced the seizure of hostages in a church near the French city of Rouen and the murder of an old priest.
"It reaffirms the barbarity and brutality of the perpetrators of this act who attacked innocent civilians and assaulted the sanctity of a place of worship, the organization said.
OIC Secretary-General Iyad Madani strongly condemned the heinous attack and expressed the OIC’s solidarity with the French government. He also reiterated the OIC’s support for the international community in its efforts to root out terrorism and combat terrorist groups and those who disseminate extremist and destructive ideas threatening international peace and security.
