RIYADH: Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) Governor Ahmed bin Fahd Al-Fuhaid visited various technical colleges and institutes in the capital to supervise preparations for the new training year.
During the visit, the TVTC governor followed up on details on the preparedness and urged trainees to work hard toward achievement of their goals that will help in making their professional careers bright, a TVTC official said on Sunday.
He praised the onsite preparation in the technical colleges for the new training year, which started earlier.
He also put emphasis on TVTC goals to improve the trainees’ skills in technical and vocational fields in order to help them find appropriate job opportunities after graduation.
Earlier, while taking charge in December last year, Al-Fuhaid stressed the need for boosting productivity by enhancing the performance and skills of employees which are required for the job market in the Kingdom.
The TVTC allocates committees in different departments in various parts of the Kingdom to ensure the completion of all training, logistic and safety preparations.
It also provides an e-channel to make contact with trainees and receive their observations and suggestions during the training year for better coordination.
The state-owned TVTC is working on new projects in order to meet the needs of the labor market in various technical fields with the cooperation of international colleges and institutes, and strategic partnerships with private industrial and institutional sectors.
