Blazers, Wasalak and KGT triumph in Titan Watch–JBL event
JEDDAH: Blazers Balik Islam of Gabs Khalid Villanueva beat JDC Warriors 123-69 in the Titan Watch-JBL Invitational Basketball Tournament at the Khalidia court here. The Blazers were unstoppable on offense. JDC Warriors’ defense collapsed in the second half of the game. Sidad and Gandaruza had 17 and 16 points respectively for the Blazers and were adjudged as the Titan Watch best players of the game while Ahmad scored 20 points for JDC Warriors.

KGT of Vhong Poliga defeated Sunbullah 79-73. KGT played their hardest in the crucial minutes of the game as Sunbullah tried in vain to get back to the game. Jay Liam topscored with 22 points for KGT and was adjudged as the Giordano best player of the game while Pasugnod chipped in 30 points for the Sunbullah.
In the 40 & above Division, Wasalak 40’s of Fred Concepcion beat R Printing 101-86. Wasalak proved unstoppable offensively. Morales scored 24 points for Wasalak 40’s and was adjudged as the JBL best player of the game while Caberte chipped in 21 points for R Printing.
Khalidia 40’s of coach Ronnie Carino defeated JDC Veterans 12793. JDC Veterans had only six players dressed for the game as Khalidia 40’s banked on a good outside shooting in the whole game. Abdullah Abayon and Mijares each scored 19 points for Khalidia 40’s and was adjudged as the Titan Watch best player of the game while Shareef top-scored with 37 points for JDC Veterans.
R Printing of Ric Santos beat Saudia Catering 83-73 in the Weak B Division. Soliveres had 12 points. Movenpick defeated Wasalak 103-90 and Ancheta top-scored with 34 points.
In the JBL Teens, Yellow defeated Red 58-39. Palad scored 23 points. Black beat Red 128-46 in the Juniors Division with Ching on 25 points. Green defeated Gray 105-90 led by Domingo’s 28 points. Blue downed Red 94-79 in the Mix Juniors Seniors Division. Escano collected 35 points.
In the Mosquito Division (10 years old and below), Blue beat Orange 19-18. De Borja scored 15 points. White defeated Yellow 22-18. Hamza Suyat top-scored with 17 points. Blue beat Red 20-11. Isaac finished with 12 points.
