Samsung unveils game-changing appliances at MENA Forum
Samsung Electronics Middle East and North Africa (MENA) unveiled its novel digital appliances including its FlexWash™ laundry system and the Wind-Free™ wall-mounted air conditioner at the MENA Forum in Singapore. The new FlexWash™ is a versatile washing machine designed to offer two washers in one system, giving consumers more choices to do laundry.
The AR9500M Wind-Free™ is a wall-mounted air conditioner, which has integrated Samsung’s exclusive Wind-Free™ Cooling technology into its design — providing customers with a cooler indoor climate and optimal energy efficiency without the discomfort of direct cold airflow.
“The way people live their lives is changing, especially when it comes to efficiency in the home. At Samsung, we ensure that our products evolve with our customer,” said Georges Barakat, regional head of Digital Appliances, Samsung Electronics MENA. “FlexWash ™ is our latest innovation that fits in all your laundry needs at once, cutting down the time you are spending on laundry. The new washing machine also comes with the add door feature that allows users to add extra clothes and laundry detergent while the front loading machine is still working. This latest innovation enables our customers with the freedom and flexibility to adjust the laundry process.
“In a region where we spend a large amount of time indoors, an efficient cooling system can vastly improve the way you live your life. The revolutionary air conditioning capabilities of the AR9500M ensure that consumers no longer have to deal with uncomfortable, cold air, and they will benefit from reduced electric bills as well,” added Barakat.
The new FlexWash™ washer also uses three core Samsung laundry technologies: EcoBubble™, Bubble Soak™M, and Vibration Reduction Technology (VRT).
EcoBubbleTM uses air and water to dissolve detergent, creating powerful bubble action for cleaning that is 40 times more effective. Bubble Soak ™ thoroughly soaks clothes in active bubbles after the normal wash cycle for an extra round of cleaning, while VRT reduces noise and vibrations during high speed spins.
The two products will be available in selected markets across the MENA region from May 2017.
