Mobily sponsors Capacity Middle East 2017

Mobily was one of the sponsors of the Capacity Middle East 2017 conference, which started Tuesday and concluded Thursday in Dubai.

Mobily participated in the event to review its international services, learn about the latest developments in the telecom and IT sector and exchange expertise with other participants.

This was in addition to showcasing its other services launched in collaboration with international operators, such as advanced connectivity services and international roaming.

Mobily participated in the inauguration of the AAE1 (Asia — Africa — Europe 1), a 25,000-km international submarine cable connecting Far East countries with Europe through the Middle East and Africa.

The cable has a huge capacity and enhances the exchange of international voice, data and Internet services with minimum delay and high transfer capacities.

Mobily possesses one of the biggest and latest FTTH networks in the Kingdom.

Now in its 12th year, Capacity Middle East is the largest meeting uniting all Tier 1 carriers in the Middle East with international Tier 1 carriers and service providers.

Over 1,000 participants from 46 countries attended the event. It is one of the most important platforms to discuss the challenges facing the telecom and IT sector, particularly the operator’s international markets and capacities, and international cables, which significantly ease Internet resiliency around the world.

The event aimed at creating new partnerships in the field of voice services, data transmission and wholesale.
