The Kingdom expresses condolence­s to the families of the victims and to the UK’s government and the people. Riyadh rejects all forms of terrorism and extremism.

Egypt assures full solidarity with the British government and people, as well as families of the victims in these difficult times. This criminal act comes to reaffirm that terrorism has no religion or belief, and targets innocent people.

The act represents the other face of terrorism and other forms of extremism, namely Islamophob­ia. The incident reflected the rise of violence in Europe. her hand in Brexit talks, has faced criticism for her record on security after the previous series of attacks blamed on militants.

London Mayor Sadiq Khan has called on May to reverse planned police spending cuts, while she has also been criticized for her response to a fire in a London tower block last Wednesday which killed at least 79 people.

The Muslim Council of Britain said Monday’s attack on mosque worshipper­s was the most violent manifestat­ion of Islamophob­ia in Britain in recent months and called for extra security at places of worship.
