Swiss hotel lures Middle East travelers with wellness packages

Middle East travelers planning getaways during the Eid Al-Fitr holidays are being offered a series of exclusive wellness packages at a luxury Swiss hotel.

The Ultima Gstaad, located at the heart of one of Switzerlan­d’s Alpine resorts, has announced a range of tailored treatments combined with bespoke dietary programs at its Aesthetics Clinic.

Physiother­apist and Spa Manager Catarina Gonçalves said: “All five programs include massages, facials or body treatments and have been carefully crafted with the Middle Eastern traveler in mind. It’s a complete approach to allow guests to achieve an ultimate level of wellness and relaxation during their stay in Gstaad.”

One of the packages features La Prairie’s Diamond Perfection Body Treatment, a top-to-toe experience that starts with a Cellular Mineral Body Exfoliator followed by a massage with Skin Caviar Luxe Cream. This polishes, tightens and firms the skin, leaving a general sensation of well-being.

Meals at the hotel’s Duchessa restaurant and juices from the Detox Bar progressiv­ely prepare the digestive system and continue detoxifyin­g the body, helping guests on the return to their normal diet.

All treatments provided by the Aesthetics Clinic start with a consultati­on with a doctor who will verify the guest’s body condition and recommend the best course of treatments.

The anti-stress package, which includes a one- or twonight stay, consultati­ons with one of the clinic’s specialist­s and a special radio-frequency treatment is one of the five programs on offer until Dec. 15 at the price of CHF1,700 ($1746) for one night and CHF3,000 for two nights.
