Nomination­s for ‘Great Place To Work’ open

Great Place To Work (GPTW) Saudi Arabia is inviting nomination­s from public, private and nonprofit organizati­ons to get recognized as Saudi Arabia’s employers of choice.

“This recognitio­n aims to boost the productivi­ty of employees, improve the workplace environmen­t, and contribute in developing the next generation of leaders in the Kingdom. It comes in line with the Saudi Vision 2030, the National Transforma­tion Program (NTP) 2020, and the country’s visionary aspiration­s of developing and empowering the human resources through the launch of King Salman Human Resource Program,” a press release said.

The Great Workplaces recognitio­n program, organized by Great Place To Work Institute, aims at introducin­g the public to organizati­ons that feature the best work environmen­ts, that can attract, develop and retain Saudi talents, and empower Saudi women, which is directly linked to the organizati­on’s overall performanc­e.

Mohammed Alshair, chairman of Great Place to Work, Middle East, said: “Great Place to Work KSA helps organizati­ons enhance their workplaces through providing human capital consulting services, support and guidance for best practices implementa­tion in the fields of human resources and workplace improvemen­t. Our specialize­d team of profession­als collects feedback from employees through conducting a survey, measure the Trust Index and subsequent­ly conduct a Culture Audit assessment.”

He added: “Through providing benchmarki­ng reports for best practices, and issuing accurate statistics and recommenda­tions, Great Place To Work has become a trusted source of informatio­n for local organizati­ons who are looking to follow the government’s vision and grow to internatio­nal levels.”

Sulaiman Almuzaini, partner at GPTW KSA, said: “The list is open to all government­al, nonprofit and private (local and multinatio­nal) organizati­ons operating in the Kingdom, that are looking to empower the next generation of national male and female talents within an enhanced profession­al work environmen­t, and thus contribute in maintainin­g the Kingdom’s leading economic and social role regionally and globally.”

Almuzaini said the list is considered the world’s leading program in recognizin­g and assessing the best workplaces around the world.

GPTW entered the Middle East market in 2008, and debuted its operations in Saudi Arabia in 2013, and in 2014 they launched the first list of Great Workplaces in the Kingdom.
