Design takes the spotlight in 2017 smartphone evolution: Survey
Smartphone design has not witnessed any major changes in the last decade. While earlier models have given way to slimmer and more powerful devices, the basic design template has remained stagnant. This year, however is seen as the year to revolutionize the visual aspect of the smartphone.
According to a recent Honor consumer survey, close to 30 percent of respondents stated that phone design was the main deciding factor in their smartphone purchase. The smartphone maker said design has always been a key part of its innovation and it has invested heavily in R&D since its inception to ensure it provides consumers with soughtafter design, performance and functionality in each of its popular flagship models.

The Honor 9 will launch in the UAE and Saudi Arabia this summer.
