Flyadeal announces National Day fare promotion

flyadeal, the Kingdom’s new low fare airline, opened for sale with a launch promotion for its first flight on Saudi National Day. All seats on the two special flights that will be operated on Saturday were being offered for sale at SR48 ($12) one-way.

The sale promotion continues with additional fares on doubledaily flights between Jeddah and Riyadh from Sunday until midnight on Sept. 30 with the travel period running until Oct. 31. Bookings can be made only via the flyadeal official website (flyadeal. com) or the all-female Customer Engagement Center (CEC) on 920000212.

The website follows a simple design with white space and vibrant colors, informational videos about flyadeal and instructions on how to book a fare, choose a seat or preorder a meal. The airline said it continues to communicate its “only pay for what you need” message, staying consistent with its social media campaign of recent months. By offering choices and a good price, flyadeal said it is looking to address the demands of budget conscious travelers in Saudi Arabia.

The website revealed two product features that will be a talking point with flyadeal customers. The first is a free 10 kg cabin bag allowance which offers customers in the Kingdom the most generous carryon allowance on an economy class ticket. The second was a trial of Ladies Only rows that are reserved for female customers seeking the comfort of a dedicated space.
