Ring partners with Al-Jammaz to provide smart home security in Saudi Arabia

-

Ring, a leader in smart home security, has joined hands with Al-Jammaz Distribution to expand its reach across the Saudi market offering customers innovative home security products and solutions.

“Ring believes in keeping homes and communities safe rather than just comfortable and we hope to change the way homeowners view security by keeping an eye on their family and property, even when they cannot. Ring re-imagined the doorbell so consumers could respond — using a smartphone — to someone at their front door from anyplace, anytime while simplifying the technology,” said Ring Managing Director Mohammad Meraj Hoda.

“Al-Jammaz has been providing technology-driven business solutions in Saudi Arabia for almost a decade and has succeeded in reaching almost 90 percent of the Saudi Arabian channel and distribution market. We look forward to working with Al-Jammaz to address home security needs by extending the product offerings through Internet Service Providers (ISPs), online retailers, system integrators and brick-and-mortar channels,” he said.

Ring has evolved as a leading brand in the smart home security space represented by more than 16,000 stores across North America. Ring’s products have been hailed globally as a dependable second set of eyes and ears to deter thieves from breaking into homes and communities.

Al-Jammaz will promote Ring’s latest suite of smart home security products and it will also set up go-to-market strategies with key retail partners and provide the needed infrastructure for micro-channel to engage with the Ring brand.

“The Saudi Ministry of Housing has launched programs and initiatives to achieve (goals of) the Vision 2030 and the National Transformation Program (NTP) 2020, which aims to increase the rate of property ownership to 52 percent. There are huge opportunities for the housing sector to grow and develop and we believe that the Internet of Things (IoT) is set to disrupt the way we live.

“Homes are going to get ‘smart’ with connected products offering endless possibilities to make our lives easier, more convenient, and more comfortable,” said Al-Jammaz Distribution CEO Asim Al-Jammaz.
