Ragheb Alama to perform New Year’s gig in London
JEDDAH: Lebanese superstar Ragheb Alama will ring in the New Year with a concert in London, the singer has announced on Twitter.
It will be the first time he has spent New Year in the British capital.
“For those who ask about the New Year’s party, it was agreed upon with my friend businessman Ayman Assi, owner of e-Event company, to hold the New Year’s eve (event) at the Hilton London Hotel. See you in London,” Alama tweeted on Monday to his nearly 6 million followers.
The 55-year-old singer is currently working on a new album and is busy recording songs he has chosen from a selection of poets, composers and distributors in the Arab world.
