Malabar Gold & Diamonds celebrates Children’s Day with MIS students
Malabar Gold & Diamonds, one of the leading jewelry retailers in the region, celebrated Children’s Day with over 250 students of the Modern International School (MIS) in the Kingdom, from Nov. 14-15.
A drawing competition titled “Starlet — Kids Jewellery” was conducted by Malabar Gold, which saw the participation of many students under the age of 12.
The event was attended by officials from Malabar Gold, and the school’s principal, headmistress and teachers.
Children enjoyed a fun-filled day, participating in a wide range of activities.
Ismayil Elampara, sales manager, Malabar Gold & Diamonds, and Kazi Mohammed Siddique, principal of MIS, were present on the occasion.
Winners were awarded with gold coins and certificates of appreciation.
“As the tagline indicates, Malabar Gold & Diamonds is always at the forefront when it comes to celebrations. Today’s children are our future. We always aspire to bring forth the hidden talents of the kids and we are thankful to MIS for associating with us by providing their venue to help us achieve the same,” said Gaffoor Edakkuni, regional director, Malabar Gold & Diamonds.
The global jewelry chain has 195 retail outlets spread across the GCC, India, Singapore and Malaysia. It is one of the first jewelers to introduce designer kids’ jewelry crafted with 100 percent child-safe and non-hazardous metals. Its brand “Starlet — Kids Jewellery” is especially made for Malabar Gold’s young customers and features a variety of designs. Each piece is carefully crafted with no sharp edges and the designs are playful, the jeweler said.
