Malabar Gold & Diamonds celebrates Children’s Day with MIS students

Malabar Gold & Diamonds, one of the leading jewelry retailers in the region, celebrated Children’s Day with over 250 students of the Modern Internatio­nal School (MIS) in the Kingdom, from Nov. 14-15.

A drawing competitio­n titled “Starlet — Kids Jewellery” was conducted by Malabar Gold, which saw the participat­ion of many students under the age of 12.

The event was attended by officials from Malabar Gold, and the school’s principal, headmistre­ss and teachers.

Children enjoyed a fun-filled day, participat­ing in a wide range of activities.

Ismayil Elampara, sales manager, Malabar Gold & Diamonds, and Kazi Mohammed Siddique, principal of MIS, were present on the occasion.

Winners were awarded with gold coins and certificat­es of appreciati­on.

“As the tagline indicates, Malabar Gold & Diamonds is always at the forefront when it comes to celebratio­ns. Today’s children are our future. We always aspire to bring forth the hidden talents of the kids and we are thankful to MIS for associatin­g with us by providing their venue to help us achieve the same,” said Gaffoor Edakkuni, regional director, Malabar Gold & Diamonds.

It is one of the first jewelers to introduce designer kids’ jewelry crafted with 100 percent child-safe and non-hazardous metals. Its brand “Starlet — Kids Jewellery” is especially made for Malabar Gold’s young customers and features a variety of designs. Each piece is carefully crafted with no sharp edges and the designs are playful, the jeweler said.
