Najm appoints Fahad Ibrahim Al-Akeel as CEO
Najm Insurance Services has announced the appointment of Fahad Ibrahim Al-Akeel as the new CEO, effective Jan. 1.
Chairman of Najm, Abdulrahman Abdel Mohsen Al-Kalaf said: “On behalf of the board of directors and employees, we welcome Mr. Al-Akeel to the family of Najm. We are confident that his extensive business and industry expertise will add value to the company.”
Al-Akeel said: “I am honored to be appointed as the new chief executive officer of Najm, the company that has majorly contributed to the Saudi Arabian vehicle insurance sector over the past few years, with its core competencies in managing business and gaining customer loyalty.
“The company’s new strategy and vision will shape its roadmap toward growth and excellence. We look forward to enhancing and elevating the quality of services offered and expanding the scope of work. Together with Najm team members, we will proceed with a clear vision toward achieving sustainable growth and success in the coming years,” he added.
Al-Akeel also noted the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, which focuses on establishing a strong and stable economy with diverse sources of income. Al-Akeel anticipated a unique opportunity for the insurance sector in fulfilling this vision.
He further highlighted the importance of the government’s role in activating the insurance programs adopted by the Council of Ministers, such as the insurance of government vehicles, as well as strengthening and initiating partnerships with the private sector to achieve the desired goals.
Al-Akeel has more than 19 years of extensive experience in the business and financial sectors, where he held several leadership positions in leading Saudi companies and banks. He also obtained many professional management degrees and certificates from Canada, Switzerland and Stanford University, USA.
Since 2007, Najm Insurance Services has been providing professional and innovative services to vehicle insurance companies and individuals who have been exposed to traffic accidents. Its services include assistance at the scene of traffic accidents, initiating and taking required actions and procedures to resolve the accidents, and specializing in the preparation and submission of documents.
