Saudi PPPP 2018 Exhibition attracts 426 companies from 26 countries
The 15th edition of the Saudi Plastics and Petrochemicals and the Saudi Printing & Packaging Exhibitions (Saudi PPPP) will open on Sunday at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center. The event will run until Jan. 24.
“With the participation of 426 local and international exhibitors from over 26 countries, the Saudi PPPP 2018 Exhibition will set the stage for the presentation of the latest industry innovations, equipment, services and solutions by experts and pioneers of the petrochemical and chemical industry,” a press release said.
The exhibition will bring together highly skilled engineers, industrialists, and businessmen to view the latest technologies, services, products, machinery, equipment and supplies within the petrochemicals, plastics, printing and packaging sectors, on a display area of more than 26,000 square meters.
“The participation of exhibitors from 26 countries reflects the importance of the event and its global visibility,” said Mohammed bin Sulaiman Al-Alsheikh, marketing manager of Riyadh Exhibitions Company. He added: “This exhibition comes at a time when the petrochemical industry is witnessing remarkable growth. The exports of chemical and plastic products account for more than two-thirds of Saudi’s total industrial exports and 10 percent of the Kingdom’s total exports. The plastic sector in the Kingdom is expected to grow at an average rate of 2.3 percent per year until 2020. This is due to the Kingdom’s innovative vision, businessfriendly policies and regulations and many benefits to foreign investors.”
Al-Alsheikh said: “This exhibition is considered a direct entry into the Saudi market, which holds billions of dollars’ worth of opportunities in various sectors, and represents the premiere destination for all those who are looking for new business opportunities, as it brings together hundreds of local, international and regional exhibitors, and thousands of specialized visitors under one roof.”
The exhibition, organized by the Riyadh Exhibitions Company, highlights a range of preprinted products, pre-printing machines, stitching machines, polishing machines, cutting machines, printing techniques, in addition to packaging machinery, design services, manufacturing and packaging materials.
It also offers a variety of new products and innovative techniques in injection molds, packaging, chemicals, semi-finished goods, engineering plastics, plastic products as well as raw materials, such as additives and polymers.
The exhibition is held annually and is one of the largest industrial gatherings in the region accredited by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI).
