Huawei rewards talented Saudi employees with trip to China

Huawei Consumer Business Group Saudi Arabia has launched for the first time in the Kingdom the “Huawei Saudi Stars” initiative, through which the company rewarded its employees for achieving the highest sales in 2017 by taking them on a trip to China.

With this initiative, Huawei aims to appreciate the efforts exerted by its team, and create a motivating work environmen­t.

“The aim of the initiative is to encourage Huawei employees and improve their skills and productivi­ty to move forward and work hard, which will reflect positively on Huawei’s clients in the Kingdom,” a press release said.

The five-day trip included visits to tourist attraction­s and recreation­al areas such as Canton Tower, Huawei’s labs and factories, in addition to a visit to Huawei’s largest showroom in China.

Pablo Ning, president of Huawei Consumer Business Group Saudi Arabia, said: “We believe in the capacities of Saudi youth and we always encourage them to improve their skills further within the attractive environmen­t of Huawei. Therefore, we worked on launching the motivating ‘Huawei Saudi Stars’ to boost their morale and help them advance in their career, which will be reflected on the level of Huawei’s customer service and satisfacti­on.”

Ning said that Huawei Consumer Business Group prioritize­s motivation in all its activities. It also rewards its talented Saudi employees to promote their spirit of determinat­ion and initiative.

Huawei smartphone­s have a market share of over 20 percent in Saudi Arabia, according to the latest reports from GFK.
