#KingYeontanDay

-

#KingYeontanDay was trending on Twitter for the celebration of the celebrity puppy’s 2nd birthday. Those who know a thing or two about K-Pop must know who Kim Yeontan is, as he is the famous celebrity puppy adopted by Kim Taehyung — the member of the South Korea boy band BTS commonly known as “V.”

Yeontan is a black and tan Pomeranian puppy with his own wikipedia page. He is usually seen in BTS vlogs as a fluffball who is almost always there in shoots running to the members whenever he gets the chance.

The fans fell in love with him and now call him the eighth member of the band, so the fluffball’s birthday is a huge event in the BTS universe. Fans are compiling his cutest moments on-screen, even taking the time to draw fan art. The fans in the Philippines went all out and organized a two-part celebration that the star Kim Taehyung himself will be very happy about. In the first part, the fans are donating goods for PARC (Paws Animal Rehabilitation Center) which is a temporary shelter for dogs, cats and other animals rescued from cruelty or neglect with the goal of placing them in loving homes.

Secondly, they planned to display videos of the puppy on the MAAX building in Manila.

@Thetaepring tweeted: “Taehyung could have chosen any dog he wished to but still adopted yeontan despite having clear knowledge about his poor health conditions and that he needed a lot of medications and care. He loves his furry angel so much.”

@JuralakJ tweeted: “Happy Yeontan day, be strong and be a cute dog for Taehyung.”

@saraheehe tweeted another adorable tweet: “#King YeontanDay for being the best boy in the world you deserve every treat in the universe #King Yeontan Day.” Fans shared the puppy’s videos not just with Taehyung but with all the members playing with him and taking care of him.
