Al-Hilal fans on Sunday took to social media to celebrate their team’s 3-1 victory away to Saudi Pro League rivals Al-Ittihad.
Brazilian midfield star Carlos Eduardo scored twice for the Riyadh side on 15 and 26 minutes, during Saturday’s game at Jeddah’s King Abdullah Sports City. Al-Ittihad striker Romarinho pulled a goal back in the 31st minute for the hosts only for forward Sebastian Giovinco to net an 89th-minute third for Al-Hilal to secure maximum points for the visitors. Al-Hilal supporters marked the win with the Arabic hashtag for Al-Hilal mornings.
@faisal_rn tweeted a picture of Carlos Eduardo sliding on his knees in victory and said: “What a beautiful morning, Al-Hilal.”
@omfares2017 also shared a picture of the player and said: “Have a good morning, Al-Hilal fans, and may we have more of these beautiful mornings.” @masisaeed said: “The morning that comes after Al-Hilal winning is unmatchable.”
