#SuperClap

K-pop band Super Junior is back after with a new song, “Super Clap.”

They were reunited earlier this year after members completed military service, which is mandatory in South Korea.

Super Junior changed as its members enlisted one by one, but “Super Clap” restores the lineup. The upbeat video has psychedelic colors and sharp choreography and the song was co-composed by Swedish songwriter Andreas Oberg, who worked on Red Velvet’s “Umpah Umpah” and Monsta X’s “Alligator.” The song is from the group’s new album “Time_Slip” which was released on Oct. 14. The music video was supposed to be released at the same time but was postponed because of the tragic death of K-pop singer and f (x) member Sulli.

Less than two hours after the music video’s release Super Junior had taken the top two worldwide trending topics on Twitter with “#SUPER_Clap” and “#SJ_Time_Slip.”

@haeteukies tweeted: “whoever styled leeteuk for the i think i and super clap performances deserves a RAISE.” @bongbongshi said: “No one does it like Super Junior, Super clap is such a hit! Recently, I can’t stop replaying. I hope when all EXO members finish military they will still be as active as Super Junior and I hope I like k-pop by then. There is so much toxicity.” Zhou Mi, who is a member of Super Junior’s Chinese sub-unit Super Junior-M, posted a picture with Super Junior: “Everyone, did you see the Super Clap comeback stage? Why are our members are this handsome!! Please give Super Clap a lot of support!”

In July Super Junior became the first Kpop group to perform in Saudi Arabia as part of Jeddah Season.
