#Mothersday

-

Sunday, May 10 was International Mother’s Day. Mother’s Day is celebrated annually, though with a different date every year.

Twitter users employed the hashtag #Mothersday worldwide as they celebrated mothers everywhere — including, in some cases, themselves. @adorbs_princess tweeted: “Today, I celebrate every mother especially my mom. I wish you all good health & long life. A special #Mothersday to you all. Peace & love always.”

@akshaykumar tweeted: “Even in this day and age, you’re the only one whose one hand on my head can comfort me in troubled times because I know there’s nothing I can’t do with your blessings maa. Happy #Mothersday.” @MaryamN Sharif tweeted: “Been almost 2 years that you left us but there hasn’t been a single moment when I have not missed you sorely. Your memories & teachings have carried me through the vicissitudes of life. Thank you for teaching me that fear is never an option. Everyday of my life is #Mothersday.”

@sayyeshaa tweeted: “Happy Mother’s Day to the light of my life!! I love you so much … need you at every step of my life! My bestest friend, companion, guide, critic and mum! Thank you for being you! #Mothersday.”

@Kelow_C tweeted: “Happy #Mothersday to my beautiful mother the strongest fierce woman I know I love you mom. If you no longer have a mother she is your mom too you are love.”

@Imbayik tweeted: “I take that one look at myself and I see love, I see resilience and grace. I see so much fun. I see the mum I always wanted to be. One that wakes up every day and gives their all. #Mothersday I’m happy I get to

celebrate myself today.”
