Centre Systems Group to sponsor Jeddah Cricket Association’s events HIGHLIGHT

UAE-based technology innovation company Centre Systems Group (CSG) is sponsoring Jeddah Cricket Association’s ( JCA) two events to kick-start the 2020-2021 cricket season, under the auspices of the newly formed Saudi Arabian Cricket Federation (SACF). This was recently announced after an agreement was reached between JCA and CSG in Jeddah during an online meeting between CSG founder and vice president Muzammil Riyaz and Ahmed bin Mahfooz, executive secretary of JCA.

Following the agreement, JCA’s cricketing activities began on Sept. 4 under the new guidelines issued by SACF, the sole body responsible for promoting and developing cricketing activities in the Kingdom. The federation’s president is Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Mohammad.

While CSG is making its debut as a sponsor for JCA, the company is also JCA’s first sponsor after the resumption of cricketing activities following the outbreak of COVID-19 in the country.

“JCA looks forward to CSG being a part of its elite group of sponsors and a partner for long-term cricketing activities for the mutual benefit of both,” a statement said. Riyaz thanked the cricket association for giving the company an opportunity to sponsor the events of JCA, which he said is the most active cricket organization in the Kingdom with a history of first events to its credit and the distinction of having a huge cricket complex with 10 grounds at Usfan near Jeddah.
