‘Over 300,000 flags mark Saudi National Day’

A total of 307,907 flags were raised throughout Saudi Arabia to mark the Kingdom’s 90th National Day.

Green national flags decorated streets, rooftops, public spaces, and squares as the country celebrated the anniversar­y of the Kingdom’s unificatio­n by its founder King Abdul Aziz. In Riyadh, 57,491 flags fluttered, while 11,985 were flown in Jeddah, 1,500 in Makkah, 16,832 in Madinah, 15,400 in the Eastern Province, 30,000 in Al-Baha, 28,971 in

Asir, 24,483 in Qassim, 24,000 in Jazan, 22,975 in Hail, 20,530 in Taif, 17,500 in Tabuk, 13,000 in Jouf, 9,450 in the Northern Borders region, 4,857 in Najran, 4,700 in Hafr Al-Batin, and 4,233 in Al-Ahsa.

Many events were held in different parts of the Kingdom to mark the occasion.
