#PENTAGON1stWin

-

For the first time, and four years since making their debut with a self-titled mini-album in 2016, K-pop’s Pentagon won a music trophy with their new song “Daisy.”

The nine-member band was formed through the Mnet survival show “Pentagon Maker.”

Fans were overjoyed with the group’s win and made the Twitter hashtag #PENTAGON1stWin trend on Tuesday. @zalddowed tweeted: “Today is just the start of your incredible journey.

You will cry happy tears from now on, Hyunggu! #PENTAGON1stWin.” @holichongseok tweeted: “i hope this forever erases their doubt of whether they deserve to be on that stage or not. they made it and no one can take this from them. they persevered and we are right there with them. i’m so proud of my first place singers :))) #PENTAGON1stWin.”

@ yfieee e tweeted: “Kino and

Hui cried. Ahhh. They’ve been waiting for this moment for so long. I’m sad. These hardworking guys deserve only the good things. #PENTAGON1stWin.”

@hourly98z tweeted: “universe, thank you so much for your efforts, we finally got our boys a win. we also got the max points for live voting which shows how much we can accomplish when we put our mind to it. for now, thank you, we’ve all worked hard. enjoy this win #PENTAGON1stWin.” @huiiiiing tweeted: “Time is no longer the problem. Thank you for not giving up and working hard til now #PENTAGON1stWin.”

@snowforptg tweeted: “The number of wins a group has means very little to me, we all know wins =/= talent.

The only reason I care so much about Pentagon’s is because it means so much to them and they mean so much to me. Congratulations boys, you deserve the world #PENTAGON1stWin. #PENTAGON1stWin.”
