#ForeverWithBTS

-

“ForeverWithBTS” was trending No. 1 globally Monday on Twitter following news that BTS would have to fulfill their mandatory military service.

BigHit Music, the K-pop group’s agency, released a statement regarding the years-long debate on whether

BTS should be excluded from joining the army for the great international attention they brought to South Korea with their music and good deeds.

“BIGHIT MUSIC is proud to announce today that the members of BTS are currently moving forward with plans to fulfill their military service,” read the statement. “As each individual embarks on solo endeavors, it’s the perfect time and the members of BTS are honored to serve.”

The news came after BTS successfully concluded their concert to support Busan’s bid for the World Expo 2030 on

Saturday, Oct. 15.

It was their first concert since the group took a hiatus to seek individual growth after releasing their first anthology album “Yet To Come (The Most Beautiful Moment)” earlier this year.

Fans, known collectively as ARMY, showed their support for BTS’ decision to serve their country and promised to wait for them with open arms in 2025.

Promises of support flooded Twitter, making many BTS-related hashtags and topics trend globally on the platform.

@BTSChartDailyx tweeted: “2 years? I will wait you for the rest of my life. My loves never doubt it, we will wait for you and we will remember you, we will never forget you! How could anyone forget them?”

@DailylofV tweeted: “I love you my forever 7 I’ll always be here, I’m so proud of yall #ForeverWithBTS ARMY FOREVER BTS FOREVER.” @130613fate tweeted: “No matter what, no matter how long. Every step of the way,

ARMY will be

here for BTS.”
