ASHIZURI-UWAKAI NATIONAL PARK
Conservation Zone, Marine Life Reserve, No-Take, No-Touch Zone
Established: 1972 About 1,000 fish species (one third of those living in waters surrounding Japan) can be found off Kashiwajima and Okinoshima. Coral reefs are dominated by beautiful table corals and soft corals, and are home to abundant macro life.

Divers must pay 150 yen (USD1.5) per person per day for environmental conservation
GETTING THERE
Fly into Kochi Ryoma Airport, and then take a shuttle bus to Kochi Station (50 minutes). From Kochi Station, take the limited express to Sukumo (final stop), which takes just over two hours. It takes another 40 minutes by car from Sukumo
