Mid-autumn Gems

Sheraton Towers Singapore’s enticing mooncake selection coupled with a opulent box design make for great gifts to clients and family members.

It’s that time of the year again when mooncakes aficonados can look forward to a delicious Mid-autumn Festival. This year, Sheraton Towers Singapore has launched an elegant collection of baked and contemporary snow skin mooncakes, which are meticulously handcrafted by the culinary team of award-winning Li Bai Cantonese Restaurant.

Back by popular demand are the Champagne with White Lotus Seed Paste ($62 for box of eight) and Lychee Martini with White Lotus Seed Paste ($62 for box of eight) snow skin mooncakes. In addition, there are two new creations to delight taste buds. The Black Truffle Sea Salt Dark Chocolate with White Lotus Seed Paste ($62 for box of eight) is an indulgent treat comprising bittersweet dark chocolate with a hint of black truffle and sea salt. The Lemon and Lemongrass with White Lotus Seed Paste ($62 for box of eight), on the other hand, is redolent of citrus fruit flavour to lift the palate. For good old-fashioned flavours, you won’t go wrong with the traditional baked White Lotus Seed Paste ($66 for box of four), White Lotus Seed Paste with Single Egg Yolk ($68 for box of four), Double Egg Yolk ($72 for box of four/$108 for premium box of four), as well as Mixed Nuts ($72 for box of four).

Those looking to present these mooncakes to corporate clients or loved ones can up the ante by opting for Li Bai’s premium box, a plush looking champagne coloured box which doubles up as a serving tray. The classic box design comes in a choice of three colours – sleek red, luxurious gold and contemporary rose gold.
