There were over 600 animal births and hatchings across Jurong Bird Park, the Night Safari, River Safari and Singapore Zoo in 2016, and many of these new arrivals were threatened Southeast Asian species such as the Sunda pangolin, the painted terrapin, the proboscis monkey and the black-winged starling (plus some cute elephants and cheetahs, too).
