PREYING PUPPET

-

From 19 April, Singapore Repertory Theatre (SRT) presents Tony Award-nominated play Hand to God, a dark comedy that narrates the life of a troubled teen who, while coping with his father’s recent death, is forced to join his mother in a church-led puppet group. When this God-fearing boy discovers that his sock puppet has a life of its own, all hell breaks loose, with his foul-mouthed, satanic sock puppet, Tyrone, showing the children, minister and school bully who’s really in charge. Starring Daniel Jenkins, Janice Koh, Ann Lek, Thomas Pang and Gavin Yap, Hand to God plays to a younger generation, riffing on everything from love to faith while making audiences laugh out loud. Psst – if you’re a fan of Avenue Q, you’ll likely love this one! See it at KC Arts Centre – Home of SRT. Tickets from Sistic. srt.com.sg
