EDITOR’S NOTE

I thought the world was only speeding up for “oldies”, but apparently the “youngies” are feeling it too. So, if you’re diving into May with your brain still in February, don’t panic – it’s not your age!

- REBECCA BISSET Editor-in-chief

Is the world spinning quicker? Are we trying to fit too much into each day? Or is there a massive giant up in the clouds putting something into our food? All I know is that I haven’t quite started on some of my New Year’s resolutions yet!

Getting fit, starting meditation classes – those still haven’t happened. I have, however, booked my first guitar lesson. And from a work point of view we’ve been doing wonders. We’re ready to roll on our first series of neighbourhood videos – so, if you’re thinking of shifting house, or you know people who are moving here, head to expatliving.sg for a preview viewing. There’s heaps more to come, so keep checking the interactive map.

As usual, May is our black-and-white homes theme, and we’re sure you’ll love the ones in this issue. Do let us know if you want us to showcase your home; no matter what size or type, we’re interested in your story – email us at editorial@expatliving.sg and we’ll get in touch.

Our annual Travel Guide will be out soon too – we wish you all the best for getting your travel bucket-list ticked! And don’t forget that entries for our Photo Competition close on 15 May. There are some fab prizes to win! See page 92 for details – and good luck!
