Sir Move recently performed a local move for us – one that had some additional complexity. We needed to move into a smaller apartment on a temporary basis prior to our expected international departure, so the move involved splitting our belongings into two groups; those items that we would live with, and others that needed to be packed for export and stored in our unit.

The Sir Move team provided an excellent service from the beginning to the end, and they used an organised and methodical approach that was critical to the success of the move. I also have a special custom-made bookshelf unit that I was concerned about during the dismantling, moving and re-installing processes. Our move supervisor was wonderful; he took great care with this item, and even fixed the cupboard door fasteners that had been broken by our previous mover. I was very grateful to him, and I would recommend the team at Sir Move without hesitation.

We were moving from a condo to a landed property, and, as we have a collection of wine, fine wine glasses, artwork and some antique furniture, we needed a company we could have full confidence in. Alan also has a large collection of books that are heavy and a lot of work to move. We chose Allied Pickfords because of a friend’s recommendation, as well as their good reputation.

They provided us with a competitive quote, and we loved the fact they are a full service company, including packing, planning and unpacking. They even organised all the books in our new library and sent handymen who had no problem dismantling and assembling our furniture.

The team unpacked until late into the night, and for those boxes that we wanted to unpack ourselves, they came back later to take away any rubbish. We were most impressed by their talented handyman – possibly the best we have met – who was able to professionally hang all of our artwork, and who also returned to the house to help us hang more pictures once we’d worked out where we wanted them.

The entire move, from start to finish, went incredibly smoothly, and we will definitely use Allied Pickfords again. Moving out of the condo wasn’t easy, but the movers saw the challenges and were able to quickly come up with a plan. Our new home is three stories tall, with no elevator, but even the largest items made it in.

Allied Pickfords took the stress out of moving for us; we cannot recommend them highly enough. We’re both working professionals, but we were able to leave our domestic helper at home to meet up with the team and they were able to get the job done without us being there.

We were moving from one condo to another within Singapore, and specifically we were looking for a company that could take very good care of our prized art collection, our piano, and of course the rest of our home furniture and furnishings. I had seen Raffles Relocation’s advertisements, and they had also come highly recommended by a friend. I also know Sonal from the company personally. These were the deciding factors when it came to choosing them to help us move.

Raffles Relocation is a company of international quality, and they didn’t disappoint during our move. The personnel proved to be very experienced and efficient; they supplied plenty of staff to help during the move, which took four days in total, and it went smoothly and with no issues. I’d happily recommend them to others looking for a moving company.
