• Since March of this year, Singapore Airlines and Silkair have been progressively incorporating fuel and insurance surcharges into base airfares to create a simpler fare structure for passengers. Swiss International Airlines has increased capacity on its daily flights from Singapore to Zurich with the Boeing 777-330ER; the new plane can carry up to 340 passengers. • Indian domestic carrier Vistara has teamed up with Singapore Airlines to codeshare various destinations in India, including Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Kolkata. Frequent- flyer members of both airlines will earn miles when travelling on the shared flights.
