That’s why the Singtheatr­e bedside initiative to bring music, storytelli­ng and good cheer to paediatric wards at National University Hospital (NUH) is so heart-warming. Downton Comes to Town

If you fell captive to the charms of blockbuste­r British period drama Downton Abbey, this exhibition is for you. Singapore is the first date on the global tour of an exhibition that brings fans up close and personal with the leading characters, storylines, costumes and sets: Mrs Patmore’s hectic kitchen, the gossip-fuelled servants’ quarters, and the glamorous staterooms inhabited by the Earl of Grantham and his family.
