Both of our children have been at GIIS East Coast Campus since the time we arrived here in 2013. The kids started off in Kindergarten and have always enjoyed going to school. We’re very happy with the manner in which the school is run; the teachers have been wonderful, showing great attitude and effort. The school also offers a lot of options for the elective CCAS. Over the years, Zreh has taken up Maths Club, Aviation Club and Explorer Club, while Ava has been involved in Art & Craft, Bharat Natyam (Indian dance) and Jewelry Making. Zreh is also part of the school basketball team and represents the school in inter-school tournaments. The school has great PE coaches who get the children to enjoy and learn a variety of activities. We read about the school while researching online before moving to Singapore. We were keen for our children to study the Indian curriculum, and GIIS was the best fit for us. Based on our experience, we highly recommend the school to parents looking for a holistic development of their child. The school gives equal importance to values (assemblies with themes that highlight values, Gandhian studies and more), sports and fitness along with academics. The entire staff including the Principal and Vice Principal are always accessible. They encourage us to approach them if we have problems or suggestions. We also receive regular feedback about our children’s progress and updates about classwork. It has been a great experience.

GIIS has 4 locations island-wide. sg.globalindianschool.org
