Review Crew:

We rate five pizza deliveries

-

Ten different kinds of pizza delivered from five different pizza joints. That’s what the Review Crew had to tackle this time out. We sampled a basic cheese pizza or a Margherita from each place, depending on which one they offered, and one of their speciality pizzas too. Yup, ten slices each. Gulp! And you just can’t imagine how different cheese pizza can be from place to place.

# ALT

In our haste to get eating, we ordered the wrong pizza here and didn’t get just the plain cheese! Rather, Say Cheese actually has onions on it – and boy is it tasty. We also sampled the Truffle Shuffle, a very flavourful and rich pizza that we all thought rocked. Yum!

# CANADIAN TWO-FOR-ONE

If you want bang for your buck, this is the way to go. The dough-laden cheese pizza and the Hawaiian pizza would both be an easy choice for a party with lots of kids, but you might skip it if you’re trying to impress your adult friends.

# PEPERONI

The Margherita pizza from here comes with fresh tomatoes and was pretty darn tasty. The grilled veggie pizza had a nice variety of vegetables, but far too many black olives for most of us.

# SARPINO’S

This popular spot was also running a two-for-one special. At first, we thought the cheese was a meat pizza as it didn’t look like a typical cheese pizza. The Satay Pizza seemed like a risky order, but actually left us all begging for more — even my dog.

# SPIZZA

Spizza does an amazing, crispy crust and the fresh basil on the Margherita was a great touch. Trying something local, we went for the beef rendang pizza. Sadly, rendang is better in a bowl than on a pizza!

Which pizza came the fastest? Which pizza was the tastiest? Would we order the same pizza for adults as kids? To find out, check out the video at expatliving.sg.
