Setting: Smack dab in the middle of the rich heritage enclave of Little India, One Farrer Hotel is a great spot for those looking to combine cultural surrounds with first-class facilities – the best of both worlds, really. The hotel’s all-day dining Escape Restaurant & Lounge will have you watching chefs live in action, which is always a fun touch!

Spread: Escape is serving up a seasonal celebration from 22 November until 2 January 2020 with a collection of roasts, seafood and festive desserts. The festive lunch (12 to 2.30pm daily) is $62 per adult ($31 per child), while the dinner (6 to 10pm daily) is $88 per adult ($44 per child).

One item that caught our eye was the roasted truffle turkey with fresh Italian black truffles (yes, please!); and the signature salt-encrusted turkey sounds delectable, too. Other highlights include traditional roasted rib-eye and spiced orange-glazed boneless ham.
