I’m breaking out more than usual even though I’m staying at home. What can I do?

There are many reasons for lockdown outbreaks. These include increased stress due to uncertainties, a change in your regular skincare routine, frequent use of masks, and the lack of deep cleansing facials.

Try using acne-clearing products like the Clear Bliss Clearing & Soothing Gel ($98.50), which targets acne without drying up the skin. A good cleanser is also a must; our favourite is the Skin Laundry I 24K Gold Cleanser ($64.20), which helps to clarify the skin while leaving it supple and plump.

DIY home facials are a must as appointments with your beauticians may be scarce at this time. Try giving your skin a deep cleanse every week by using a scrub such as the Gold Flakes Illuminating Facial Scrub ($64.20), followed by a face peel. We also offer a bespoke facial peel ($91) that’s customised to your skin type and needs. All you need to do is fill out a simple form and it’ll be formulated just for your skin, and then delivered to your doorstep.

Lastly, a good face mask can soothe inflammations and reduce redness. Try the Water Infusion Mask ($21.40), which does wonders for stressed-out skin requiring TLC during this period! sw1shop.com.
