If your skin is starting to sag and lose elasticity but you're not keen on going under the knife, consider a non-surgical facelift such as Thermage or Ultraskin (HIFU). Both treatments help to tighten and contour the skin and its underlying tissue without incisional surgery. Thermage uses radiofrequency waves to stimulate the natural production of collagen, while Ultraskin uses high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) waves to stimulate collagen production down to the fat and the Superficial Muscular Aponeurotic System (SMAS) layer.

These technologies tighten sagging and ageing skin on the eyelids, face, jawlines, neck, arms, hands, tummy, thighs and legs. No downtime is needed, which means you can return to your normal activities immediately after your procedure without any post-treatment restrictions. While your skin may appear flushed at first, any redness should disappear within a few hours. Dr Mendis of Mendis Aesthetics adds that skin tightening results are visible within a month and can last up to a year. Maintenance treatments are usually done once every six to 12 months, depending on your skin condition.

This family-run brand has been making natural, vegan and cruelty-free skincare for over 25 years. This overnight mask is designed to hydrate, smooth out lines and rejuvenate the skin; it uses peony extract as an antioxidant, evening primrose oil for hydration as well as Borealine (extracted from bark) to reduce fine lines and wrinkles. It also smells amazing – I love applying it at night and smelling it as I lie down in bed.

The texture is rich and creamy. It’s not oily but instead feels like a thin protective barrier on the skin after I gently massage it in. After a few weeks of use (two to three times per week), I do think my skin feels firmer, softer and much more hydrated. I want to see what their other products smell like now!
