Kibo

Kibo is six years old, a mixed breed dog known for his adorable short tail. He is caring and known to be good with other dogs. Kibo likes three daily walks and is vaccinated, sterilised and in good health. He’s also HDBapproved and suitable for singles and families alike.

Raine

Six-year-old mixed breed Raine has a shy but gentle nature. She’s good with other dogs, but may take a while to warm up to humans. Raine can understand basic commands and is vaccinated, sterilised and healthy; ideally, she would be walked three times a day for an optimal lifestyle.

Tess

Tess is a four-year-old mixed breed dog who’s still timid but gradually opening up to more humans. She can eat on her own and takes showers well. Tess is good with other dogs and likes to be walked three times a day. She’s vaccinated, sterilised, HDB-approved and in the pink of health.

Boaz

This three-year-old mixed breed male dog is medium sized and healthy, sterilised and vaccinated (but not HDB-approved). Boaz can understand basic commands and is also friendly with other dogs. He would do well in a private home with loving owners.

ABOUT MERCYLIGHT

Mercylight started as a handful of volunteers who fed stray dogs every evening in the eastern side of Singapore. In 2009, one of them spotted a skeleton-thin dog standing in the middle of a two-laned road in an industrial area and gave the dog her takeaway dinner – a packet of chicken rice. From that evening onward, rain or shine, the dog faithfully waited at that same corner of the road, at the same hour every day, for the same person to come and feed her.

Today, the team feeds about 50 dogs over a few locations daily. They’ve also sterilised and adopted out many dogs to good homes, keeping in touch with them afterwards. mercylight.wixsite.com
